Finding out your pregnant is one of the most exciting times in your life. In between decorating the nursery and buying baby clothes, you might start to feel a bit overwhelmed. Preparing for your new bundle of joy will help you be more prepared when you finally go into labor. Below is a short list to help you prepare for the big day!
It’s never to early to get yourself organized. Once you new baby arrives, you will have little to no time sleep, so planning ahead will makes things much easier. For example, as you get closer to your due date, start preparing meals that can go from the freezer to the table in little time. One-pot dishes not only cut down on cleaning time, but you can also make a double batch.
Feeding your Baby
If you have chosen to breastfeed, invest in a quality breast pump. Although you may love the bonding that occurs when you breastfeed, there are times when it might not be appropriate. By using a pump, you can still give your baby the vitamin-enriched breast milk without the hassle of looking for a quiet place to breast feed.
Make your home baby proof
While you have the energy, take the time and transform your home into a baby-proofed hangout for your new baby. Smooth all of the sharp edges and put breakable items away. Once your baby becomes mobile, you won’t have to worry about them injuring themselves. In addition, invest in electrical covers, or you can simply move furniture so they aren’t accessible to tiny fingers.
Bringing your baby home should be a peaceful time. Preparing in advance will enable you and your family to simply enjoy the newest addition.

When your wife tells you that you have a new responsibility its not a bill but your flesh and blood. This means that for the next 9 months you and your partner will have to prep not only your home but your lives for this next generation of life coming soon to you. So with so many whats and ifs lets get down to the fine details so when you kid comes home he or she has the home needed to thrive. Also so you have no need to worry about any disasters in the making.
The first will be getting your wife and home in good health. It is more then important that the women who carry’s your child is more then in good condition to keep your child safe and healthy form the inside out.To do so make sure that she has all of her doctors visit in check with any medicine that is prescribed taken when needed.
Now that you love one is in good health lets talk about the condition of your home.We all have many things in our homes form small to big. The only problem that some of these items can hurt and kill your new born child. So one of the major if not the most important task is getting your home safe for the new born. Doing this will take time but in the end not only is it easier then you think but is more then worth it in the long run.
The first thing you are going to do is getting all of the harmful house hold items in one area where no matter what your child can not reach even if he or she tried.Once you complete the small things the next will be the majors like heavy objects that are most likely all over the place that you use around the clock for any number of reasons. Once this is done it is all up hill from here but in a way that you will like.
The final step beside all the clothe shopping will be the food that you feed your child. For the time being you can not just feed it anything but only soft foods. With so many products out there it comes down to personal choice with flavor and other things that cross your mind. With all this said you have the basics parents.
